The Mag EraSURE P3M Mobile Degausser is the newest product approved by NSA and DoD for the top security erasure of hard disk drives and magnetic tape media. The Mag EraSURE P3M degausses longitudinal recording hard drives up to 5300 Oe and magnetic tape up to 2600 Oe. It is also approved for degaussing Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded Media (PMR) - the latest in hard drive technology - up to 5000 Oe.

This unit operates directly by the use of a hand crank, so no electricity power source is required. Thus, the Mag EraSURE P3M is fully deployable and ready for field operation, anywhere in the world.

This unit is very quiet, reliable and convenient. The Fujitsu patented rare earth permanent magnet technology generates no heat so the machine can be used continuously. Its table-top size makes it perfectly suited for any environment: field operation, in-office, or in any data center. It is also available as a rack-mounted machine.

Access to the drive cavity is simple and easy: open the hinged cover and insert the hard drive or tape. The degaussing process takes approx. 10 seconds per drive or tape media. Additionally, because the degaussing process is cool, the operator does not need to wear heat-protective gloves in order to handle the drives once they have been erased.

An optional hydraulic lift table enables the machine to be easily raised and lowered to meet unique operator requirements--especially useful for partially disabled or handicapped personnel.
